When we were living in Whangarei both my husband and I had our first vax on the 18th November 2021.
Exactly a week later my husband started getting chest pains & shortness of breath.
After another 2 weeks & his shortness of breath getting worse we went to A&E at Whangarei hospital. We spent 6 hours there while they ran tests but they said they could find nothing & sent use home.
On 10th of January he experienced another health problem so back to A&E where they did a blood test & said he'd had a heart attack. He was moved to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) where they did all sorts of tests & found he had Myocarditis of the heart muscle.
After a week in hospital he was sent home on 4 medications to help his heart.
He has filed an ACC claim & filled in CARM's form too.
