    After getting my second jab, I lost all feeling and control from waist down.

    Visited my doctor several times but he denied anything to do with vaccine & I was sent for MRI and cortisone injections.

    After 4 months I heard from a woman through work that people she knew had Guillain Barre Syndrome from the vaccine.

    I went to my doctor & asked if that could be what it was. He confirmed that yes it was.

    I then spent time in hospital at the neurology unit & saw a physiotherapist. While there, they denied that it could be anything to do with vaccine.

    Meanwhile, I have had no improvement. I'm living in agony every day and night. My legs feel like pins & needles and I have lost all balance and control and have minimal feeling.

    I am unable to work and am trying to get ACC on board with my claim but they say they won't decide until June.

    Feeling very low.

    I'm 25 years old and have lived a healthy life so far with no underlying medical conditions.

    On November the 13th I received my first Pfizer vaccination because I was being mandated and would loose my job as a teacher.

    Receiving the Pfizer vaccination was something I never wanted to get and I never would have gotten it if I wasn't being forced with the threat of having my career and life taken away from me.

    However since getting this vaccination my life has never been the same, I can't enjoy the same things I used to and I am constantly worrying about my health and sometimes fear that I may not wake up the next day.

    Within 30 minutes of receiving my vaccination I had numbness and tingling in one side of my body, loss of hearing and instant pain in my shoulder.

    My facial numbness seemed to subside but my leg has continued to have numbness, pain and a feeling of something moving inside it permanently, sometimes my leg has such bad pain that I cant sleep at night! It's one of the most severe pains I've ever felt. I also get these same pains in my fingers and elbow joints but these are less frequent.

    But the most concerning thing that happened to me was less that 24 hours post vaccination I developed severe chest pain, after a visit to ED I was discharged with inflammation to the lining of my chest post vaccination - I was instructed to take Ibuprofen and rest.

    These pains continued and I ended up in ED again with another brush off saying I was fine.

    I visited my GP and was told it's anxiety and I'm imagining the pain. I have never suffered from anxiety in my life and I know that is certainly not the cause.

    5 months later and I am still suffering from chest pain, it's not always constant but it's always there and some days it's a lot worse than others. I went from having a regular heart rate normally between 60 and 70 bpm to now a heart rate that reaches 130 bpm just from standing up and walking to my kitchen.

    I'm normally a fit and active person that enjoys sports but now I can't even join my usual teams as I worry that this strenuous activity will tip my heart over the edge!

    Hello.

    I received my first Pfizer shot on 5/10/21 at 9.54am. Batch no. FG3716-001 administered at my local medical centre.

    That evening I felt nauseous so went to bed. I then woke during the night with a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. I got up to use bathroom and experienced terrible dizziness to the point I had to grasp onto the bathroom vanity to stabilise.

    This happened a further three times in the next 24 hours, along with numbness and tingling in my cheeks and top lip. A tremor developed in the back of my neck and hand.

    I reported my reaction to my GP who advised me to contact CARM. My Adverse Event Report ID is: AEFI031861. I have received no contact from CARM or further check from my GP.

    Ongoing problems from this jab include:

    • a horrible sense of being in a boat rocking in a rough sea which is particularly bad when lying down or sitting still;
    • exacerbation of an existing nerve injury in my left foot leading to intense rhythmic cramping;
    • balance issues;
    • facial tingling.

    I am currently awaiting a neurologist appointment.

    I reluctantly had the second shot after consulting another doctor who said the first jab obviously affected my nervous system and must have entered my vascular system (instead of being contained in the muscle. I recall blood being on the plaster when I removed it post jab). This doctor advised if I do decide to have the second shot, I should have the syringe aspirated. I did this and thankfully did not have anything like the reaction to the first shot (although the injection site is still painful).

    I checked the website HowBadIsMyBatch and found there had been 3 reports of death and >150 serious adverse reactions associated with the first batch number. There were no deaths reported with the second batch dose and only a small amount of adverse reactions associated.

    I have researched widely and am regularly taking quercetin, vitamin D, zinc and will shortly introduce glutathione - this combination was recommended by a sufferer with similar symptoms.

    It is now over five months since the first jab. Some days are better than others.

    I feel coerced into taking the second in order to continue the activities I enjoy.

    The rocking sensation is horrible and I hope and pray it diminishes. However, I feel grateful to not have suffered to the extent of Casey and other people.

    Thanks for reading.

    Anne
